Wm. H. Talbot Reel Co. - Nevada, Mo. Marked German Silver and Aluminum Ben Hur Fly Reel This example, a size 101, has a dia. of 2 1/2" and a 1" wide spool. The subject of a January 22nd, 1901 patent, the shouldered pillars featured on this reel provided more support for the frame and extended to the outer face of the side plate.
