J. F. & B. F. Meek brass reel, extra small size

Brass reel is smaller than a No. 1

Made in Louisville, Kentucky, c. 1843-1845

Has only 3 screw  side plate.  The side plate is smaller than a size
# 1 reel.  Side plates measure 1 7/16 in. diameter, most  books say they  never made
one this  size reel.  Screws are unnumbered because it was made prior to numbered  screws.  Mint condition
